Alboran Golf has undoubtedly become the new reference for
Golf in the south of Spain. Situated in a province which has
the most number of daylight hours in Europe.

Alboran Golf course spreads out over an exceptional piece of
land, located in front of the Cabo De Gata natural park and
beside the beach. An international airport is only 5 minutes
away and the city center 15 minutes.

The course itself being a par 18 hole championship course
complies with all requirements necessary to host the highest
level competitions and was the host to the Almeria
Mediterranean Games in 2005.
Designed by Ramon Espinosa one of the most prestigious golf
architects when designing the course respect for the
environment was taken into consideration using plants such as
palm trees, prickly pears and olive trees.
There are more then fifty bunkers on the course, at each hole
the golfer must negotiate sand traps to reach their goal, on
arrival at the extensive greens there is another obstacle in the
form of gentle slopes making putting that little bit more difficult.

Alboran golf has an extensive practice area measuring 150
meters wide and 300 meters long consisting of 2 tee, 2 putting
greens, a chipping green with a practice bunker.

The resort also has dressing rooms, rental service for clubs,
golf carts and electric buggies as well as a golf pro shop and a
bar.

A golf school that is equipped to teach all levels from basic
introduction to perfection of the game, there is also a childrens
golf school available at Alboran Golf.

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings at
Alboran Golf Resort, please inform all members in your party of
these.

Handicap certificates are required at time of booking and on
arrival at the course.
Maximum Handicap for Men 28 and Ladies 36.
The management reserve the right to make up 4 balls at their
discretion for golfers booking in smaller parties.
Soft spikes are compulsory.
Players must wear tailored trousers or shorts and shirts must
have collars.
Players should check in the reception 30 minutes before their
tee time.
Players arriving late or no shows will not be entitled to any
refund.
International rules of Etiquette must be observed.
